Dr. Peiffer completed his MD/PhD at the Loyola-Stritch School of Medicine where his PhD work focused on prevention of endocrine resistance in estrogen receptor positive breast cancer, specifically targeting cancer stem cells or tumor initiating cells. He then completed his residency in Internal Medicine here at the University of Chicago. He is interested in continuing to work in the field of breast cancer with a focus on tumor immunology and antibody drug conjugates.
