Gideon Dosunmu

Dr. Dosunmu developed a passion for hematology/oncology during his masters in public health at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He then completed his internal medicine residency at the University of South Alabama. His experiences during residency reaffirmed his interest and commitment where he did research in germline testing of patients with history of colorectal polyposis. Some of his current research interests include cancer risk prevention and artificial intelligence in oncology. He hopes to develop these interests to a world class level with the great mentorship available at University of Chicago. Outside of work, he enjoys the wonderful food and amazing scenes of Chicago, soccer, travelling and making new friends.
