Given his training in combined internal medicine and pediatrics (Med-Peds), Dr. Wesevich’s clinical interest is in adolescent/young adult (AYA) oncology, and Drs. Wendy Stock and Adam DuVall were major factors in his decision to train at UChicago. He plans to focus on health services research, specifically related to cost of care and patient communication, and his primary research mentor is Dr. Mark Ratain, who is a national expert on pharmacoeconomics. Dr. Wesevich and his family decided to live in Hyde Park, where he bikes his daughter to daycare before work each morning and sing at our local Catholic church.
