Dr. Anderson completed her Internal Medicine/Pediatrics residency here at the University of Chicago. Previously, she earned her medical degree from the University of Utah. Following residency, she worked as a primary care physician at a federally qualified health center where she enjoyed precepting medical students as University of Chicago Clinical Assistant Professor. Dr. Anderson has a specific interest in hematologic malignancies in adolescents and young adults. Her research under the mentorship of Dr. Wendy Stock, has focused on acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
