Dr. Wen completed both his medical residency and PhD in Ecology and Evolution at the University of Chicago under the guidance of Dr. Sarah Cobey. In his doctoral work, he examined the effects of vaccines on the evolution of the influenza virus using agent-based models and analysis of phylogenetic and epidemiological data. In fellowship, he is broadly interested in applying computational methods towards cancer research.
