Hemanth Potluri, MD, PhD, completed his MD/PhD training at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and completed his Internal Medicine residency here at the University of Chicago. His PhD work focused on the effects of radiation on the tumor microenvironment in prostate cancer. He performed translational work exploring combination strategies of systemic radiation and immunotherapy. He is interested in research focused on identifying mechanisms of resistance to immunotherapies in solid tumors and using this information to guide novel therapies.
