Joseph Cannova
Dr. Cannova completed his MD and PhD degrees at Loyola University Chicago, where he studied the role of MYD88-dependent and TICAM-1 dependent Toll-like receptor signaling in MLL-AF9 leukemia mouse and human model systems. He completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Chicago as a part of the Physician Scientist Development Program and is interested in pursuing a career as a physician scientist with research interests in hematologic malignancies and inherited cancer predisposition syndromes.  He grew up in Wheaton, Illinois and attended Notre Dame for his undergraduate studies in Biological Sciences and Peace Studies. Outside of medicine, He enjoys spending time with family in the suburbs, seeing comedy shows in the city, and ranking Chicago’s pizza options.
