Margarite Matossian
Dr. Matossian earned her MD/PhD in Tulane University’s Physician Scientist Program. Her dissertation project focused on the discovery and characterization of a novel and understudied signaling pathway, the NEK family, in breast cancer metastasis. She then came to the University of Chicago, where she has continued her work under the direction of Dr. Rita Nanda and Dr. Marsha Rosner, with aims to test novel anti-cancer agents and combinations, and optimize targeting of kinase signaling pathways and hypoxia, to improve treatment of TNBC metastasis.
