Shree Bose, MD, PhD, completed her MD/PhD training at Duke University School of Medicine, and her Internal Medicine residency here at the University of Chicago. Her PhD research focused on uncovering mechanisms by which metastatic ovarian cancer cells survive oxidative stress, with the aim of identifying novel drug targets. Her future research will explore the intersection of cancer metabolism and cellular abnormalities, how metabolic shifts drive cancer development and progression, and therapeutic strategies to target these changes.
