Dr. Yates did his undergraduate work in Georgia before attending Wake Forest School of Medicine for my MD/MS (MS in Clinical and Translational Research). He then completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Chicago with mentorship from Drs. Stock and Nawas. His clinical and research interests are in hematologic malignancies (especially leukemias) in older adults, with specific research interests in the assessment and intervention of nutrition and body composition in these patients.
