Vivek Behera

Dr. Behera completed his M.D. and Ph.D. (cancer biology) at the University of Pennsylvania. After that, he came to the University of Chicago for residency/fellowship as part of the PSTP program. His clinical interests remain undifferentiated between solid oncology and malignant hematology. His research interests are in applying systems biology approaches to resolve higher-order interaction networks between single cells in the tumor microenvironment. The program has already helped with setting up research collaborations with translational investigators in multiple tumor types and in providing timely advice on fellowship/early-career grants that support physician-scientist training. His hobbies currently include tennis and rock climbing.
